Peter Wolfe (Wolfman) is infamous for writing the song “For Lovers” together with Pete Doherty. During this time Wolfman created an original mixed media, oil.

The hand painted wood collage is elebrating the life of John Lennon on wood panel by Peter Wolfe (Wolfman). The subject matter speaks for itself.

Peter Wolfe (Wolfman) recorded “For Lovers” together with Pete Doherty. Wolfe had written the song in the mid 1990’s.

This single was Wolfe’s biggest success as musician, reaching #7 in the UK Singles Chart.

The success of the single, which was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award for songwriting.

Wolfe was also the subject of a film documentary commissioned for The Other Side on Channel Four in the UK. The film was titled, “The Greatest Unknown Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.”

During the Belgian revolution of 1830 and the period of mutiny afterwards (1830-1839) the family BOCH had already acquired a long tradition in the field of faience and a lot of strategic experience in anticipating politic and economic developments.

Around 1874, due to the passionate interest of collectors of old faience pieces, Victor BOCH hires Dutchman from Maastricht, some already experienced after years of work in Delft. These Dutch faience painters brought their knowledge, experience and skills.

Thanks to their collaboration the old working methods were applied on different clay than the potters in Delft.

A period of reproduction of decors is followed by a period of innovation, among others with the polychrome decors on white background, or bleu, green or black, and afterwards new decors.

Luxury faience is decorated with Delft decors, and becomes a speciality of the “Manufacture” in a division named “la Chambre des peintres hollandais” (the Holland painter’s chamber).

These pieced each with a hand painted signature of the interlaced letters “B, F, K“ (Boch frères Keramis) on the bottom of the pieces.

These artistic products in Delft style are hand painted, instead of being decorated with a usual printed decor.

Tudor Rose

One the most distinctive and unmistakable flowers in England is the Tudor Rose. This specific type of rose is both red and pink around the outside and white. It has been in use as the country’s plant emblem since the Tudor Era.

The Tudor Rose sometimes called the Union Rose the traditional floral heraldic emblem of England. It takes its name and origins from the Tudor of the Tudor Family.

This is Vintage Royal Stafford Tudor Rose Tea Cup and Saucer Set. The delightful set 2 of cups and saucers with the milk Creamer and the sugar bowl and discovered it was in very good condition when I got it home.

A fine and subtle spirit dwells

But when I looked upon the bank

My wandering glances fell

Upon a little trembling flower,

A single sweet bluebell.

Whence came that rising in my throat,

O, that lone flower recalled to me

My happy childhood’s hours

When bluebells seemed like fairy gifts

A prize among the flowers,

Emotions


When he said, “I just want you to stay.” To do whatever it takes to keep me in you my arms. Stay with me even if times are challenging because I know you love me. I know that this is true. 

Working on a Further Leave to Remain to stay here with you. The application process means hundreds of questions; lots of requirements; meeting every one. Submissions of different documents, photos and proofs; it’s really me; it is a true test of wills where the equation is patience, endurance and emotions. 

Why does the truth require proof. I guess it means there are emotional forces here aligned with the strategy and purpose. I know the universe exist; Do I really need to know how the entire universe works? Can it be simplified into equations? 

I think some people speak as if the universe is something to be solved, but not experienced. Somehow I don’t believe equations take into factor human nature; or how we as humans tend to navigate by emotion and not always by logic or proof.

Logic if too constrained by rules is fundamentally flawed when applied to anything with a heart of its own because the heart is organic; yet a living matter. I am living matter. We are. And organic, with heart; perfect and flawed. 


So, I’ll get to stay
