Emotions

When he said, “I just want you to stay.” To do whatever it takes to keep me in you my arms. Stay with me even if times are challenging because I know you love me. I know that this is true.  Working on a Further Leave to Remain to stay here with you. The application process means hundreds of questions; lots of requirements; meeting every one. Submissions of different documents, photos and proofs; it’s really me; it is a true test of wills where the equation is patience, endurance and emotions.  Why does the truth require proof. I guess it … Continue reading Emotions

Living for the Moments

Waltzing into my existence with shoes fit for  A Welsh guard.  Intentions of conquering the unknown, Within the melodies laughing in my heart, Holding my hand,  Unlike you did with the others.  Instead, you found me nestled in your arms; A proclamation of love; in that bearskin hat.  It wasn’t too hard to love you properly. Finding myself shine in the gleam of a smile,  Where I discovered you in the dark  In the depths of innocence,  I was dressed like Paddington Bear There was no denying you in that uniform,  Realising running was not an option.  That is when … Continue reading Living for the Moments

Strength in Knowledge

It is rare if you find someone who can completely turn your world around, but to find someone who loves the same things as you like traveling, exploring, music, culture and the arts and adventure; I think is even more rare.  We will tell each other things that we’ve never shared with another soul and together we will absorb everything. We will talk and actually you always want to hear more.  We will share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and listen to all life’s experiences that have been thrown us.  … Continue reading Strength in Knowledge

About Adventure

There is something about an adventure The beauty and elegance of the road, Finding places unseen before, Some more than a thousand years old. When exploring these hemispheres I feel there is an essence about it, An existence not seen by all, Discovering it’s secrets are sacred. They exist though pale in the light, You can see them moments before the dawn  Just when the light graces the earth, Wondering if heaven is like this. I see the nested sparrows rising;  Listening to the seagulls calling, The doves cooing in the morning And pigeons on a fence. It is a … Continue reading About Adventure

Le Voyage

Bonjour! I have always loved to travel. Sometimes it’s risky leaving home, going on an adventure to another country, then going through customs and then border patrols. Those are times when we share new loves and new conversations talking about settling somewhere new. What if”s are fun… refreshing. Perhaps looking for a job or even a new house anyone knows that it is risky. But, I think sometimes the heart overtakes reason and you just want to hit the road. We are on our way to Paris, just for a few days. Taking the ferry from Dover to Calais. We’re … Continue reading Le Voyage
