Celtic Bed

You were Henry and I Anne
We slept in one of the bedchambers
Last night.
Then as we slept I dreamed
You made love to me.

Then we walked through the beautiful land,
Through the ancient gardens at Portland House Castle, a Celtic castle
Near the Cotswolds and Welsh Borders.

The Castle resonates with history
Its the only Castle with a vineyard
Which has been a vineyard within
It’s walls for over 500 years,
And wine is still produced.

At the castle we discovered
An atmospheric bedchamber,
Delicious food and wine, roaring fires
And many beautiful moments
Where we made love
Maybe it was a wish of hope.

When were Henry and I was Anne
Just Me and you in our bedchamber
In your suit of armour,
And I in my gown,
I loved you then and
I still live you now.
